TV5 turns up the excitement this summer with two explosive primetime premieres happening on April 27—A Secret in Prague and My Bespren Emman. As part of its “Primetime Pa5iklab” campaign, the network delivers a dynamic mix of action, romance, drama, and hope through these star-studded series, promising more thrilling and meaningful weeknights for Filipino families nationwide.
Leading the lineup at 8:00 PM is A Secret in Prague, the first-ever TV team-up of ultimate heartthrob Enrique Gil and Gen Z queen Andrea Brillantes in a thrilling action drama set against the stunning backdrop of Prague in the Czech Republic.
The story follows Mikoy (Enrique Gil), a devoted brother who migrates to Prague to give his family a better future. His journey takes a dangerous turn when he is recruited by a secret organization to spy on Chiara (Andrea Brillantes), the fierce and fearless daughter of a mafia boss.
Co-produced by Slingshot Studios (where Enrique is also a partner), written by Mark Duane Angos, and directed by Barry Gonzales and Paco Sta. Maria, A Secret in Prague airs Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 PM after Frontline Pilipinas.
The excitement continues at 8:45 PM with a story that will touch hearts and rekindle faith. My Bespren Emman is an inspirational drama featuring a powerhouse cast led by JM De Guzman, Shaina Magdayao, Sid Lucero, and Ai-ai delas Alas.
The series follows Mateo (JM de Guzman), a man navigating the consequences of his past mistakes while trying to build a future with his childhood best friend, Ruth (Shaina Magdayao). Following a life-altering accident, Mateo meets a mysterious figure named Emman, who guides him through a transformative journey toward redemption.
Co-produced by Numinous Narratives and Spring Films, under the direction of Derick Cabrido and Jerome Pobocan, My Bespren Emman airs Mondays to Fridays after A Secret in Prague.
