The program is hosted by Abante Tonite Entertainment Editor Roldan Castro, a respected figure in Philippine entertainment journalism. He previously served three terms as president of the Philippine Movie Press Club, Inc. (PMPC) and is known as the Father of the PMPC Star Awards for Music. In his first year with Showbiz Pulis, Castro was recognized as a Distinct Online TV & Radio Host at the 3rd Philippines Distinct Men & Women of Excellence Awards. He was also recently honored by Philippine Arts Film & Television, Inc. (PAFTA) with the Excellence in Entertainment Journalism award for his significant contributions to Philippine film and television reporting.
