As a mom of 4, one of my goal is to do my best for my children and giving them chores may be one of the most important thing I ever do.

Studies show chores are good for children. Kids who do chores learn responsibility and gain important life skills that will serve them well throughout their lives. Doing chores also help kids feel like their part of the team and can have a positive impact later in life.

At an early age, we can give them simple chores like picking up their toys each day. And as they grow up, their responsibility with chores should increase as well.

For example, on putting their clothes away, teach them in a step-by-step where to put the clothes and encourage them to keep on practicing. At their early age they should know where to put their used clothes and be responsible to their own clothes.

Children can also help to fold small clothes like socks and hanky. They will feel involved and develop the habit of folding laundry.

When it comes to laundry, as early as 8yo we can start teaching them how to wash laundry. Modern washing machines now are easy to operate. Buy a Washing Machine that will make laundry best chores for you and your kids. We can choose front load or top load depends on your preferences. Also look for washing machine equipped with features that will make our clothes sanitized and safer to wear.

You can add folding sheets or ironing as they grow old. Children will be more capable for having completed their tasks.
