Sparkle stars Shuvee Etrata and Anthony Constantino are taking their onscreen chemistry to the digital world as they topbill GMA Network’s newest digital series, “From Vlog to Love.”
Bringing together romance, relatable moments, and the exciting world of vlogging, the series marks a fresh chapter for the two rising stars as they step into their first solo project together. Premiering on GMA Network’s YouTube channel on September 18, this romantic comedy mini-series centers on the story of a witty probinsyana, who catches the eye of a Fil-Am heir, unaware that his efforts to win her heart are part of his online comeback plan.
Joining Shuvee and Anthony in From Vlog to Love are Sparkle artists Caitlyn Stave and Kiel Gueco, along with Christian Antolin, Marnie Lapus, Che Ramos-Cosio, and Ruby Ruiz.
Blending humor, kilig, and emotional moments, this project is tailor-made for the loveteam, exploring modern love in the age of social media, viral content, and complicated relationships.
Reflecting their real-life dynamic, an “AFAM meets Bisdak” trope anchors the story. Angge (Shuvee) is a feisty college intern known for her quick wit and fierce determination to build a better life for herself and her grandmother without relying on anyone. While Bullet (Anthony) is the charming but directionless Fil-Am boy who, after a viral scandal involving a spliced racist remark, is cut off by his rich father and exiled to the Philippines to manage the family resort. There, the real connection between Angge and Bullet unfolds.
In her first solo starring project, Shuvee Etrata brings her trademark Bisaya roots and charm, making her romantic-comedy role feel natural and heartfelt. Complementing her character is Anthony, who emerges as a promising new leading man with a strong screen presence and striking looks that easily excite viewers.
